Fieldbus Training Centers to share resources
AUSTIN, Texas,—The Fieldbus Foundation announced today that two of its certified fieldbus training centers, Fieldbus Center at Lee College (Baytown, TX) and Trine University (Angola, Indiana), have established a license agreement for sharing fieldbus training resources.
The alliance will expand FOUNDATION technology instructional opportunities across the U.S.
As part of the license agreement, Trine University will gain the right to use Fieldbus Center course materials and other intellectual property in its training curriculum. The facilities will also collaborate on future educational development work, construction of lab facilities and demonstration equipment, and scheduling of fieldbus training classes. [

Global company makes equipment donation to Trine
Trine University is one step closer to a state-of-the-art training laboratory for the FOUNDATION™ Fieldbus program at its Trine University North campus. Emerson Process Management, based in St. Louis, Mo., recently donated a DeltaV™ control system to the University. The device is a fully digital automation system that will be utilized in the control processes for the Fieldbus Program.
